Game Recap

The regular season for the Lady Panther Basketball team finished last night with a tough 44-38 loss to Arlington Martin. This completed district play and finalized the tight district race for playoff positioning. Our Lady Panthers ended the regular season at 23-10 and 8-6 in district play to claim the 4th seed in District 4-6A advancing to the bi-district playoffs. Our JV team finished the season at 22-7 and 11-3 in district play forcing a tie with Arlington Martin for 2nd place. Coach Rambo and Coach Tucker have done a phenomenal job working with these ladies this year. These young ladies battled all season long and were such a pleasure to coach daily. Our freshman concluded their incredible season by going 26-4 overall and 13-0 in district play to capture the 4-6A district championship. This is the first time since 2012 that our freshman team has went undefeated in district play. Very exciting news for these remarkable young ladies!! Coach Banks has done an amazing job with these young ladies!! We are very proud of Coach Banks and these young Lady Panthers!! The future for the Lady Panther Program looks extremely bright and we as coaches are encouraged by the production from our younger levels as well as the high interest from our extremely talented middle school programs both at CMS and at Summer Creek Middle School. Middle School night last week was our biggest Middle School night in the previous 5 years so we are extremely excited to see the buzz being generated at the lower levels!! Please come join us in support of our Lady Panthers this Tuesday night, February 14th at Nolan Catholic High School (4501 Bridge St, Fort Worth, TX 76103) for our bi-district playoff game vs. #20 in the state, the Keller Indians. We are the home team and tip off will be at 7:00pm with doors opening shortly after 6:00pm.
