Chase Bell’s triple propels the Pantherspast Paschal (Fort Worth, TX), 6-3

The Panthers jumped on Paschal early on their way to a 6-3 win on Tuesday at Paschal High School in seven innings, scoring three runs in the first inning.

The Panthers scored in the first on a two-run triple by Chase Bell and a sacrifice fly by Alex Garcia.

Bell racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Panthers.

The Panthers relied on Zach Carrion to eat up innings en route to the win. Carrion allowed three earned runs, three hits and three walks while striking out five over 6 1/3 innings of work.

Austin Smith took the loss for Paschal . He lasted just 4 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed four runs.

Panthers closer Isaiah Jones put away the final two outs to record the save.

The Panthers scored one run in each of the third, fifth and seventh. In the third, the Panthers scored on a sacrifice fly by Alex Garcia, scoring Parker Bryant.

After pushing across three runs in the bottom of the seventh, Paschal faced just a 6-3 deficit. A three-run single by Cruz Shope gave Paschal life. The Panthers closed the game out when Jones got Marc Zamora to fly out.
