Recently, on January 5, 2016, the North Crowley Lady Panther Basketball program honored Brittainey Raven with a ceremony retiring her high school jersey. Brittainey graduated from North Crowley High School in 2006 and is also a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin. Brittainey Raven is such a FINE example of true humility in this sport and an amazing standard of excellence that represents North Crowley Lady Panther Basketball in the right way. I want to sincerely thank all the basketball parents, administrators, former coaches and teachers, that all assisted with this joyous occasion. We are truly blessed to have been a part of such an experience. Below is a list of her high school, college, and professional accolades as well as a brief update on her current status.   • Brittainey Raven was a 4-year starter for the Lady Longhorns
  • She was named 3-Time All Big-12 2nd Team (2008-10)
  • She averaged 14.8 points, 4.8 boards & 43% FG (2010)
  • She led Longhorns in scoring 3 seasons (2008-10)
  • Brittainey is #12 on the Texas Longhorns All-Time Scoring listPROFESSIONAL:
  • She was drafted #33 by the Atlanta Dream in 2010
  • Named Puerto Rican League Guard of the Year 2011
  • Brittainey averaged 17.2 points, 6.6 boards, 4.3 assists, 2.3 steals & shot 56% FG for Morovis, PR in 2011.
  • Brittainey averaged 13.7 points, 4.5 boards, 1.9 steals, 1.6 assists & shot 54/1% FG for Wasserburg in 2012.
  • She led Hungary in scoring with 20 points per game in 2013
  • She averaged 20 points, 4.4 boards, 2.9 assists, 2.9 steals & 58% FG in 2013.
  • All-Hungarian League HM in 2014.
  • She racked up 15.3 points, 3 boards, 2.1 steals & 1.8 assists in Eurocup in 2014.
  • Brittainey was named Eurobasket All-Middle European HM in 2014 while averaging11 points, 4.7 boards, 3.6 assists & 1.7 steals.
  • Signed with WNBA’s LA Sparks (2014).

CURRENT STATUS:

Brittainey is currently a brokerage operations Representative for Fidelity Investments. Her mother, Rona Raven, is a supervisor for Child Protective Services in the state of Texas, her father serves as a captain for the Fort Worth Fire Department, her step mother is a vice principal at North West ISD, and her sister is currently a student at the University of North Texas. She also has two brothers T. J. & Caleb, ages 6 and 4.
